FULL LOAD (FTL) – Standard and Express

Throughout the UK and Europe we operate many different "Full Truck Load" services. We have an excellent reputation for providing cost-effective solutions for palletised and loose full load traffic. Our customers can chose between Express and Standard transit times depending on the urgency of their freight. For the past 25 years we have gained wide experience in transporting sensitive / high value cargo for many of our customers. Our in house Risk Management team has developed a rigorous programme and training is given to office staff, warehouse personnel and drivers.

GROUPAGE (LTL) – Standard and Express modes of transport

Throughout the UK we offer groupage ("less than truck load") services from our locations in Prestwick, Dumfries, Dundee  and Warrington. Our customers can choose between 2 day or 3 day delivery services depending on their particular requirements.

In Europe we are specialists in providing groupage services to and from the UK. Our level of expertise in this market means that we can achieve Airfreight transit times at much reduced cost. We offer dedicated round trip trailers to our partner locations and guarantee departures on specific days from the UK and Europe. Our customers continually want to reduce stock holding and the need for J.I.T. deliveries throughout Europe is increasing year on year. We aim to be one of the most innovative companies in this field and are continually introducing new services in order to expand our groupage activities.

AIRFREIGHT

Currie European has invested in a large number of roller bed trailers destined for the Airfreight industry. It has now become a well known supplier to some of worlds leading airlines and is keen to expand in this market.

FREIGHT FORWARDING

Utilising our own fleet plus our partners we can accommodate moving large numbers of loads at short notice. The benefit to our customers is that we manage the complete flow of both loads and information which allows our customers to concentrate on their core businesses. We are also very experienced in Project Management and have the necessary skill base to move one off items, which require extensive modelling and pre-planning.
